Lotis: Wishing for More

Lotis tries as hard as she can to be content with her mermaid life, but she is always wishing for a bit more than she has. Lotis would love to travel the globe and see all the wonders of the world under the sea, but doesn’t have the courage to go. Instead, she spends hours on end staring at pictures and books on sunken palaces, mysterious grottos and caves and other exciting destinations.

Lotis is very cautious, so she can never get up the courage to just set out on a grand adventure by herself. She does have hopes that someday she’ll meet a brave friend or even a merman who will give her the boost she needs to leave her small neighborhood and see what the rest of the ocean has to offer.
